At the end of January, more than 1,300 executives and marketing decision-makers from industry and SMEs visited South Germany’s largest promotional product show in M, O, C, Munich on 4,200 square meters.
admixx, together with four other distributors in the Munich area, invited to this information event on haptic advertising on January 24th and 25th 2018 for the twentieth time.
More than 110 exhibitors – including numerous start-ups – presented the enthusiastic trade visitors with novelties, trends and innovations from the world of promotional products. The visitors on site were individually advised and went home with many creative ideas and suggestions. “The benefits of the digital world are beautiful and good but there’s nothing like the “self-feeling and self-experience of promotional products”, says one visitor. “That’s where I find ideas for the rest of the year”. Between the product trade fair stands this year’s action area proved to be a magnet for the public.
With different trend topics from the range marketing and communication one offered the visitor a view far beyond the border of usual advertising possibilities.
Thanks to the innovative 3D sensor technology of the company IMANOX.FX.one the astonished customers were quickly transformed into “new visual worlds”.
The company Blue Silver illustrated how the innovative technology of Virtual Reality glasses can be used purposefully. Creakom.tv used case examples to show how to use video streaming for webinars, virtual conferences or hybrid events.
With the help of fragrance tents Echion AG presented how effective fragrance marketing is already used today and advised the enthusiastic visitors on the possible uses of multi-sensory marketing.
This year’s top speakers fascinated the audience with their inimitable stage presence and their lectures. Prof. Dr. Stefan Gröner (strategy consultant), Walter Kohl (bestselling author), Marc Gassert (magician) and Kishor Sridhar (leading expert in Emotional Economics) offered compelling and entertaining lectures and provided easy-to-understand and practice-oriented real expert know-how and authentic knowledge for the modern communication.
Every year WMM surprises its audience with its varied program and the fascinating innovations and innovations around the topic of haptic advertising. The trends for 2018 were marked by the sustainability of promotional products as well as digital advertising gifts that are astonishing.
The quality and offered infotainment of WMM is also known in neighboring Austria. For example, a graduate class from a marketing school with special permission used this trade fair to get to know the advertising material scene. This included a personal lecture for the youngsters which amazed the significance of the promotional item in the media mix. The WMM proved to be an absolutely worthwhile date for newcomers to the industry but also for “experienced rabbits” of haptic advertising. The same applies to the response of the visitors. They use the “lovingly planned and perfectly performed event” to see the “world of advertising up close, talk to producers and creative people and be inspired for actions in 2018.” And over 15,000 supply requirements also suggest an economic success not only for the five distributors but for the exhibitors also.
So admixx is already looking forward to the next WMM which will take place on January 23th and 24th 2019.
